De Berlin uit onze vrachtwagenzeil collectie is een stoere, opvallende rugtas met rolltop met veel binnenruimte en een 15,6 inch laptopvak. Naast dat hij er gaaf uitziet is hij ook super sterk, waterdicht en gemakkelijk schoon te maken. Gemaakt van gerecyclede materialen dus je bent ook nog eens goed bezig met zo’n gave tas!

Veel ruimte
Naast zijn stoere vormgeving, biedt de Berlin vooral veel ruimte. Alles wat je dagelijks gebruikt past er in. Daardoor leent deze sterke rugzak zich uitstekend als schooltas. Maar ook voor bijvoorbeeld een stranddagje is deze tas uitstekend gezelschap.
Aan de binnenkant van de tas vind je een laptopvak waarin laptops t/m 15,6 inch passen. Op de voorzijde daarvan zit een ritsvak, dat heel handig is voor bijvoorbeeld je portemonnee en sleutels.
Rolltop rugzak
De rolltop maakt de Berlin heel flexibel in gebruik. Hij sluit bovenaan met een rits, dus als je een keer langere spullen (tot een maximale hoogte van 50 cm) wilt meenemen dan heb je daarvoor alle ruimte.
Neem je niet zoveel mee, dan rol je de bovenkant gewoon op en zet je deze vast met de kliksluiting.
Optimaal draagcomfort
Ook aan het draagcomfort van deze rugtas is veel aandacht besteed. Op de rugzijde is een groot gepolsterd vlag aangebracht van ademende stof. Dit voelt heelijk zacht aan en zorgt voor minder transpiratie.
De draagbanden zijn van autogordel waarvan de zijkanten omzoomd zijn, wat prettiger is voor je schouders. De draagbanden zijn te verstellen tot een maximale lengte van circa 82 centimeter, zodat je de voor jou ideale draaghoogte kunt bepalen.
Ook is er een handige handgreep voor als je de rugzak in je hand wil dragen of aan de kapstok wilt hangen.
Recycling
Met de Berlin ben je gegarandeerd duurzaam bezig. Al het materiaal dat voor deze tas is gebruikt is namelijk gerecycled. De buitenkant is gemaakt van vrachtwagenzeil waaraan je duidelijk kan zien dat het eerder gebruikt is. Dat geeft deze tassen hun unieke look & feel.
De sterke en verstelbare draagbanden zijn gemaakt van autogordel. 100% recycling dus. Nou ja, ietsje minder dan, want de ritsen zijn wel nieuw. We love it.

This MoreThanHip collection is made from used truck tarpaulin, which are discarded after many years of service on the road. These tarpaulin sails are usually too good for the landfill or incinerator and are ideal for a second life as a designer bag.
Sturdy and unique
You can often clearly see that the tarpaulin has been used and that gives the bags its sturdy look. Because the bags are made from recycled truck tarpaulin, none of these bags is exactly the same.
When designing the bags of truck tarpaulins, both the robustness of the construction, the ease of use and an attractive appearance stand central. For example, there is a lot of attention for the use of colour: the application of both visual features and colour accents.
Upcycling in optima forma
For this collection we work together with a studio where discarded sails are transformed into new bags. This is mainly traditional handicraft.
First the material is cleaned. Followed by the selection of the pieces that are most fun on the front of the bag. The next step is to cut the banners to size using patterns. Ultimately the bag itself is put together.
Other recycled materials are also used in these bags. For instance, the shoulder straps are used seat belts. In some models, bicycle inner tubes are also used to strip edges and air bags for the lining of bags.
Splashproof and wear-resistant
In addition to the rugged appearance, truck tarpaulin is also very practical material. It is waterproof, so that the bags can’t be soaked with rain or splashing water. And it is very strong and not very sensitive to wear. So you have a long time to enjoy.
