Made of lightweight parachute fabric
The parashopper is a reusable shopping bag made of parachute silk. For this, the remainders of the production of our (travel) hammocks are used.
Four colour combinations
That's why we made these bags in the same colour combinations as four of the hammocks:

Lots of space and strong construction
With its dimensions of 47 X 38 cm, this shopper offers a lot of room for groceries or, for example, swimming gear. The construction is very solid, with contrasting seams and edges, enabling this bag to carry a considerable weight.

After use you fold the parashopper quickly and easily back into the in-sewn pouch. So you have a small package of approximately 8 x 10 x 5 cm. And a nice and handy bag that you can use again and again for your shopping, on vacation, swimming pool or a day at the beach.
Washable and fast drying
Is your parashopper wet or dirty? No problem. It is machine washable at 30 degrees. Moreover, the fabric has the nice quality that it does not absorb moisture. Therefore it dries quickly after washing or rain.

Parachute Silk
MoreThanHip hammocks are made of parachute silk, or polyamide (nylon). This is a very durable material, resistant to water, mould (weather spots) and sun (UV radiation). For the production of polyamide indeed non-renewable fossil fuels are used, yet the process is relatively durable in comparison to cotton, which uses many pesticides and water. In addition, a parachute silk hammock will last averagely three times longer than a cotton hammock.
Fair production in Indonesia
The MoreThanHip hammocks are fairly made in Indonesia. Production takes place in a small workshop. The employees are paid well to local conditions and for health insurance by the employer.
