1. Crossbody schoudertasje Iccha – grijs
Een veelzijdig tasje van handgeweven dhaka-stof, te dragen als crossbody, clutch of make-uptasje dankzij de afneembare leren schouderband. Gevoerd met zwart katoen en voorzien van een binnenvakje met rits. Sluit met een stevige metalen rits en leren veter.

Handig make-uptasje of grote etui, gemaakt van fijngeweven dhaka-stof met traditioneel patroon. De rechthoekige vorm en de rits die tot halverwege de zijkanten doorloopt, maken het tasje extra praktisch in gebruik. Gevoerd met waterafstotende zwarte stof, dus ook geschikt voor pennen, make-up of andere kleine spulletjes.

Uniek Nepalees handwerk
Beide artikelen zijn met de hand gemaakt in een kleine ambachtelijke werkplaats in Kathmandu door Navaraj en zijn team. De prachtige dhaka-stof wordt lokaal ingekocht en geweven in de dorpen van Palpa, West-Nepal. Elk item is uniek door het ambachtelijke proces en de beperkte oplage van de stoffen.

Designer Laura Queening incorporates local materials wherever possible, such as high quality 100% Buffalo leather that is a by-product of the food industry, traditional woven cloth, handmade brass fittings and banana yarn. The banana fibre yarn is 100% natural, and produced sustainably from the pruned excess outer layers of the Banana tree after each fruit harvest in South Nepal.
