Cradle to Cradle
To let your laptop or mobile live longer reWRAP it. Help it protect itself with an extra shield so it can sustain its valuable lifetime. Not only do we want your products to live longer, we also want this for everything that exists. Therefore we only reWRAP with materials that are sustainable as well. reWRAP makes its laptop sleeves and mobile cases following the cradle to cradle principle. This means that our WRAPs are designed and produced in a way so that they contain no harmful substances and can easily and fully be recycled.

Materials and production
Our WRAPS are made out of materials that come from nature and will return to nature when they are done wrapping. They are 100% biodegradable. All materials are selected with care so that the sleeve is completely harmless to the environment following the cradle to cradle principle.

Sheep
Our WRAPS start with Merino sheep that were once exclusively reserved for the Spanish Kings. They are nurtured in a natural environment, using ethical farming practices without the use of pesticides.

Wool
To protect the sheared wool from parasites, moths and mould during transport only natural enzymes are used. To remove impurities the wool materials and production is washed with chemical-free, recycled water.

Felt
The pure wool is converted into felt by a process of rubbing and heating. This process is fully mechanical. All process plants have been accredited for their labour and environmental standards.

Dyes
The wool felt is coloured using a toxin-free synthetic dye. The dye is tested for harmful substances according to Oeko-Tex class I, which is the highest environmental standard in the industry.

Thread
The thread used to sew together the felt is made of fully certified natural cotton. The dyes for the thread are also certified according to Oeko-Tex class I.

Label To avoid using unnecessary materials for the label, the reWRAP logo is stamped into the felt. The reWRAP logo will slowly vanish, just as the sleeve will eventually absolve into nature.

Production
The sleeves are lovingly crafted by disabled people in a sheltered workshop in the Netherlands. This way reWRAP also helps disabled people develop themselves.

Carbon offset
Because we can’t further reduce the energy consumed for transport and manufacturing, we purchase carbon credits in various sustainable environmental projects to compensate for all our carbon emissions.
