Inner pocket with zipper
This small shoulderbag is made from recycled tire tube in combination with a flap and a shoulder strap from semi-eco leather. Inside there is a pocket with zipper and the bag itself also closes with a zipper.
Adjustable shoulder strap
The Salsa has a leather shoulder strap that is lined with black nylon fabric. This strap is adjustable up to maximum 150 centimeters. So taller people can wear this party bag cross wise comfortably.

The Salsa is made of a combination of reused truck inner tubes, and a flap of semi-eco leather. This is leather that is tanned with 50% fewer chemicals, giving it a beautifully rugged look. The colour of the leather has a nice contrast with the black of the tire.

Inner tube is very practical material: wear resistant, waterproof and easy to clean. The rubber is well cleaned and treated with environmentally friendly means, which hardly smells or stains. In use, it becomes even more beautiful because the tire tube gets a soft shine.

The Made in Barrio collection is made in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia. The workshop is located in Bolivar City, a very poor slum area and operates according to fair trade standards. Socially disadvantaged residents, like single mothers, get a steady job, are trained and receive a good salary, according to local standards. In this way, people at the bottom of society get a chance of a better life. So: Fair trade!
